Con lo visto en años que trabajo en la zona de Magaluf en Mallorca,he llegado a la conclusión de que los turistas que van ahí,o son tontos,ignorantes o masoquistas.
Es tal la cantidad de abusos y el no respeto de que son víctimas que podría aburrirlos enumerandoselos.
A la llegada a los hoteles que han contratado como 4 estrellas,se dan cuenta que por lo menos una les sobra. Aquí es la regla y no la exepción,el explicarles que hay "overbooking",y mandarlos a cualquier hotel que con suerte está en las cercanías,trasladandose de madrugada y con niños cansados y/o durmiendo en brazos.
Antes de llegar,ya los taxistas del aeropuerto,les habían anotado en el taxímetro al empezar el viaje,unos recargos que nadie puede explicarles,no quedandoles mas remedio que callar y pagar.
Al otro día caen en las tiendas que venden productos mas malos y caros que en Inglaterra,ya que la codicia de los comerciantes se traduce en querer hacerse ricos en una temporada.
Caso aparte es el de las discotecas,en manos de solo un par de empresarios que tienen el monopolio de éstas,con lo que acuerdan precios,desaparece la competencia,la libertad de elegir y acceder a un mejor servicio y calidad,llevandolos como borregos en pos de una supuesta diversión.
Los tragos que ofrecen,son de dudosa procedencia y menos conocidos ingredientes,llegando a producirse en pobres chavales ,efectos de verdaderos venenos.
Casos de borracheras extrañas,que inducen a tirarse de balcones, son mas que conocidas en el Reino Unido...y sospecho seriamente que estas prácticas tienen mucho que ver con estas bebidas de "garrafón".
Si algún incauto osa reclamar de alguna mala atención,siempre saltarán solícitos,"encargados de seguridad",que no son mas que matones sin contrato ni vinculación legal con estos locales,pero si pagados en negro por ellos,por tanto cuando actúan en bloque contra algún cliente rebelde,actúan con desproporcionada violencia e impunidad,habiendo sido testigo de palizas que han terminado en graves fracturas con secuelas de por vida.
La Policía y Guardia Civil,hace vista gorda a estos conocidos "rounds"ya que como saben de que va este singular sistema,llegan cuando ya la peor parte ha pasado y los castigadores se han retirado,haciendo solo la valiente diligencia de llamar a la ambulancia,evitando ver a los conocidos seguratas en acción ,con los que departen
constantemente,admirandose mutuamente lo cachas que están,en los gimnasios y en enfrentamientos deportivos en la zona.
Los taxistas nocturnos de Calviá son los recaudadores de lo poco que les queda a estos clientes,cobrandoles 2 o 3 veces mas de lo que valen las carreras,dependiendo del grado de embriaguez de los pobres turistas.Son esos mismos taxistas que en horario diurno,escogen a quien llevar,preguntando antes,el destino de los pasajeros,y que si no es conveniente para ellos,los dejan tirados y sin servicio.
Demás esta añadir a los chorizos y camellos que pululan en la zona,esperando a dar el zarpazo de la noche,encontrando a alguna de las muchas víctimas desprevenidas.
¿Soluciones?...m m m....difíciles, son demasiado arraigadas las malas costumbres,y de ver esto como habitual y normal.
Quizás el carácter de un alcalde sin complejos,no sea suficiente. Quizás,si el Conseller de Turismo,en lugar de asistir a tanta comilona, sesión de fotos y viajes promocionales,pudiera hacer un seguimiento de lo denunciado,podría remitir tanta mugre,pero lo que es claro,que lo detallado en estas lineas en algún momento tendrá que terminar.
Por lo pronto,todo ésto pero en profundidad,esta siendo evaluado por una cadena de televisión británica,para sacarlo a la luz en los próximos meses y ojalá su título fuera en este caso Magaluf Al Desnudo..pero bien al desnudo.
